UM, the global media agency network of IPG MediaBrands, today announced its seventh Global Impact Day under the theme “One Day, One UM, One Better World”. Better World, UM’s corporate social responsibility arm, launched in 2016 under Impact Day, reflecting the agency’s commitment to its core values of community, passion and courage.

UM employees will participate in activities around three Impact Day pillars:

• Sustainability – Actions of service that directly impact our planet locally or globally.
• Health – Acts of service that directly affect the well-being of another person’s physical or mental health.

“UMs from around the world look forward to volunteering as a connected team for our beloved Impact Day tradition each year,” said Andrea Suarez, Global CEO of UM. „Our theme this year, 'One Day, One Um, One Better World,’ highlights the incredible impact we can make when we use the power of our collective action to give back to the communities in which we live, serve and thrive.”

This is an opportunity for UMs across APAC to make a real difference in the lives of others, and I am incredibly proud of the diverse and impactful initiatives happening across the region,” said APAC President UM Kasper Aakerlund.
