NYT Mini A quick-and-dirty version of the newspaper’s big and long-running crossword puzzle. Most days, the five-by-five stage has three to five clues in each direction, but the puzzles are sometimes bigger, especially on Saturdays.
Unlike its larger sibling, the NYT Mini Crossword is free to play New York Times website Or the NYT Games app. However, you need a NYT Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives.

It took me 0:50 To conclude today’s NYT Mini.
Mask and Stay were the only clues I got on the first pass. I somehow mistook „onomatopoeia” for „palindrome”, so even though SLURP immediately came to mind, I didn’t think it made sense. Oops.
I got everything but PRY on my first bash in Down Clues, leaving only SLURP and TUNER to complete a sub-minute win that wasn’t entirely satisfying.
