The Technological Plant of San Miguel (UTEC) turned one year old and celebrated it with a series of training sessions for more than 100 neighboring countries, schools, university students and members of various institutions related to technology.
In its first year, more than 4,500 people of different ages attended workshops and trainings at the site.
Mayor Jaime Mendez participated in this special day, he expressed: „It is very important that we continue to strengthen this space for exchange and training, the aim of which is to create an environment suitable for the development of the knowledge economy in San Miguel and throughout the region”.
Training was provided on artificial intelligence, innovation in organizations, digital business management tools, use of capcut and how to improve results of social networks in business. They were taught by UTN of Buenos Aires, Accenture, Zoologic, OKLA and UNPAZ respectively. Also, a workshop on networking to get a job in the technical labor market was conducted under the leadership of the Municipal Employment Office.
Located in the Colegio Máximo, UTEC is a place that offers courses and various activities for children, youth and adults that encourage innovation in new technologies. It also has a large co-working room available free of charge to neighbors in need.
