The returning team interferes as the WWE Raw Women’s Tag Title Defense ends in chaos

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belaire and Jade Cargill were invited to this week’s episode of „WWE Raw” by No. 1 contenders Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler. (Both Cargill and Belaire were drafted to „SmackDown”) Cargill and Belaire offered to put their titles on the line right then and there. General manager Adam Pearce asked for a referee to make the match official — but in the end, there was no winner.

The champion dominated early, placing their opponents in a stereo delayed vertical suplex. Belair took the two women alone and handled them for some time. Stark and Bassler were eventually able to get past her and finally get some offense in; Cargill knocks Baszler down, only Baszler does the same to her. While the two were busy on the outside, Belair hit Stark with the KOD – but before he could get the pin, Belair was attacked from behind by Alpha Fire and Isla Dawn, The Unholy Union. Fire and Dawn, along with Stark and Bassler, then beat the champions down and left them in the ring while staring each other down.

Although they were recently seen feuding backstage with Cargill and Belair, they have not wrestled together in an Unholy Union tag team match since January, when they lost to Kayden Carter and Katana Chance on „WWE SmackDown”; Prior to that, they had not been used as a team on WWE TV since losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship to Baszler and Ronda Rousey in June 2023 in a match that combined the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Ring Attack saw Dawn and Fire backstage where they demanded a Clash at the Castle title match.
