The Mavericks compete in three invitationals in California – Minnesota State University

Mankato, Minn. – Ten Mavericks finished in the top 15 in their events this week during competition at the Brian Clay Invite, Cerritos Invite and Long Beach Invite.

The Brian Clay call took place Friday and Saturday. Friday, Senior McKenna Thurston He ran a personal best time of 2:09.34 to finish 12th in the 800m.^Th. Thurston is tied for fourth and 15th on MSU's all-time outdoor hitting streak list.^Th Nationally ranked for the season.

Competing on Saturday, Senior Denisha Cartwright The senior tied for first in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.09 seconds Roxanne Foster 12 Placing^Th After running 13.96 seconds.

In triple jump, freshman Gada Hamdani Recorded an outdoor personal best of 12.16m (39' 10.75″).^Th In the event and 6^Th on the MSU all-time list.

Two Mavericks competed in different groups in the Brian Clay Heptathlon. In Group B, freshman Victoria Ermoleva Ranked eighth with 5108 marks. This personal best mark in the event is tied for first on the MSU all-time list and 15th^Th Nationally. At Saturday's Cerritos Invite, Cartwright again took first in the 100m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 12.94 seconds. Cartwright ranks first on the MSU all-time list and first on the national list. Foster finished second in the event with a personal best time of 13.69 seconds, now third for MSU and fifth nationally.
