’The level of support is unbelievable’ – Ollie Pearman on the magic of Silverstone, his latest FP1 encounter with Haas and his F1 prospects

In 2022, he took his first Formula 3 feature race podium at his home track, and last year he put on a show through the rain in a memorable scrap against Alpine reserve driver Jack Doohan – and is also starting to feature for his Alpine team. FP1.

„The circuit is a big plus – I think it’s one of my favorite tracks because of its high-speed nature,” says Pearman.

„It’s a track where you can really use the downforce and grip of a Formula car and you really enjoy it. Of course, the fans and the fact that it’s my home race – I’m very lucky to have such a great track as my home race.

“The fans, especially in the fandom, which I’ve done for the last two years, have always been so supportive and it’s been great.

„During the races, the grandstands are absolutely packed. On a Sunday morning, even if you’re racing at 9 o’clock, everyone is rooting for you. That level of support is incredible to see.
