Thai Lion Air has launched a new route connecting Bangkok Tan Mueang with Ahmedabad, offering four weekly flights and expanding its international reach.
Thai Lion Air has opened a new route to India by launching flights connecting Bangkok Tan Mueang with Ahmedabad. The service started on August 15 and runs four times a week: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. According to OAG Schedule Analyzer data, the airline will face competition from parent Thai AirAsia on the route. Thai Lion Air expects to add five more flights later in the year, allowing it to boost its service from Bangkok Don Mueang to Tokyo Narita via Taipei to five to six times a week. Additionally, this expansion will help introduce more international routes.
Thai Lion Mentari Co. Ltd., commercially known as Thai Lion Air, is a budget airline based in Thailand. It operates with Thai partners and is a subsidiary of Indonesia’s Lion Air.
