The ninth season Clothes The streamer announced on Sunday that it will be moving to Netflix on July 1. The final installment of last year’s virus event was previously only available in Mayil.
The news comes as cast members Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Dulé Hill, Amanda Schull, Abigail Spencer and former USA Network president Jeff Wachtel reunite for a reunion panel hosted by Dudum at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas on Sunday.
Clothes, which originally aired on USA Network from 2011 to 2019, follows Mike Rose (Adams), a college dropout with a photographic memory who is hired by Harvey Specter (Gabriel Magt) at a New York law firm. The show’s first eight seasons were huge hits on Netflix last year — and by the end of 2023, it was the most streamed show of the year.
Following the success of the series, NBC ordered a pilot for a spinoff show Costumes: LA Earlier this year. Helmed by original creator Aaron Korsh, the project will follow a former New York attorney (played by Stephen Amell) who now leads a Los Angeles law firm specializing in criminal and entertainment law.
„His company is at a critical juncture,” reads the show’s logline. „He had to accept the role of humiliation his whole life in order to live.”
The show does not have an air date yet.
