Discussing her upcoming release – and the seven-year hiatus since her last album – Shakira says her relationship with the former Barcelona footballer involved „a lot of sacrifices for love”.

Shakira has said she „put career on hold” with her ex-partner Gerard Pique for a long time while he was playing football.
