Schneider Electric and Compass Data Centers will develop technology for data centers Currently

Skyrocketing data generation and consumption, largely due to the growing artificial intelligence market, requires new types of data centers that can standardize their design, manufacture efficiently, and deliver quickly at low cost. Recognizing this, Schneider Electric has reached an agreement with Compass Datacenters that expands the existing relationship between the companies and integrates their supply chains to manufacture and deliver pre-fabricated modular solutions for data centers.

Since the start of the initial agreement between the two companies, Schneider Electric has manufactured and supplied approximately 150 modular data center solutions to Compass from its West Chester, Ohio facility. Along with the new $3 billion contract, the 110,000-square-foot Red Oak, Texas facility will be used to support expected growth as demand for more data center solutions increases.

„We are extremely grateful for the unwavering support and unparalleled expertise that Schneider Electric has already provided us in providing us with prefabricated data center power rooms,” said Compass Datacenters CEO Chris Crosby. „Our collaboration will allow us to innovatively deliver state-of-the-art data center solutions to meet the growing demands of our customers.”

Multi-year contract

Through this 5-year agreement, Schneider Electric and Compass Datacenters can deliver on the promise of modular, scalable data centers that offer simple design, streamlined manufacturing, and the ability to be easily deployed in multiple environments.

„We are proud that Compass has chosen Schneider Electric as a partner for its data centers because we can deliver the infrastructure they need in a predictable and reliable manner,” said Amir Pal, President, Schneider Electric North America. „Expanding our agreement to continue innovation will address future demands to serve customers in industries such as cloud and service providers to semiconductors and electric vehicles, healthcare and telecommunications.”
