Ramban: Mohanlal and Joshi Reunite After Years Action Drama; Motion poster out

Mohanlal and veteran director Joshi have been entertaining audiences with some blockbuster movies for decades. Now the two are back with a new film titled Ramban, but this time Semban will be written by actor-writer Vinod Jose.

The film’s title featured concept art of Mohanlal standing atop a luxury car facing an abstract mix of buildings and roads. He can be seen wielding a large sledgehammer in his right hand, while his left hand holds an assault rifle. The actor posed in his iconic Veshti look that is loved and adored by all.

Reports are doing the rounds that director Mohanlal and Joshi are reuniting with the 2019 film Borinju Maryam Jose. Apart from that, Semban Vinod was also rumored to be writing a story for Josh Joshi, but till recently it was not confirmed as a Mohanlal film.

The film is produced by Semban Vinod Jose and Einstein Zach Paul and Shailesh R Singh. Minnal Murali cinematographer Sameer Tahir handles cinematography for the Mohanlal-Joshi film, while Mahan editor Vivek Harshan handles the editing duties.

The film’s music is composed by Vishnu Vijay, whose score for the Tovian Thomas film Thallumala was considered a huge hit. The Mohanlal film is slated to release in 2025 around Vishu and Easter.

Mohanlal’s professional workbench

Mohanlal’s last release this year was the blockbuster Jailer. The Rajinikanth film featured Mohanlal in a prominent cameo role alongside Kannada superstar Siva Rajkumar. Also, Mohanlal will soon be seen in Malayalam court drama Nehru directed by Drishyam director Jeethu Joseph.

Also, Mohanlal is next seen in Lijo Jose Pelisseri’s Malaikottai Valiban and Ekta Kapoor’s pan-Indian film Vrushaba. He is also currently busy shooting for L2: Empuraan, a sequel to the 2019 film Lucifer directed by actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran.
