Priyanka Chopra attended the Wimbledon Women’s Singles Final in London on Saturday with her husband singer Nick Jonas. Czech Republic’s Marketa Vondrousova became the first unranked women’s player to win the championship by defeating Tunisia’s Ones Zabiure.
Chopra wore a sleeveless abstract print midi dress for the iconic tennis match, while Jonas opted for a brown checkered suit. The actress’ green, blue and black frock featured ruffles across the bodice and detailing along the skirt.
Chopra accessorized her ensemble with black knee-high sock boots, an oversized blue-grey clutch and a pair of small rectangular sunglasses. She also added a pair of small gold hoop earrings.
The actress wore her brunette tresses in a semi-updo, while her makeup consisted of a mauve lip and matching blush.
Most recently, Chopra starred in Amazon Prime’s spy series „Citadel,” starring „Game of Thrones” actor Richard Madden. “The Citadel” has been renewed for season two, ahead of the show’s premiere in April 2023. However, due to ongoing writers and actors’ strikes, the production is currently on hold.
Chopra took to Instagram on Friday to show her support for the Screen Actors Guild union strike, which officially began on July 14. „I stand with my union and colleagues,” he wrote. „Together, we create a better tomorrow.”
A-listers like Margot Robbie, Matt Damon and Fran Drescher have also said they plan to join SAG on strike, with Damon and his „Oppenheimer” costars Florence Pugh, Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy walking out of the film’s July 13 premiere in London.
