Under managing director Stefano De Nessa, the brand is expanding from its core footwear business into a men's and women's clothing collection. The first was called „flaws”.
This translated into men's and women's clothing, which „had unexpected details meant to stay away from the obligatory image,” De Nessa explained, such as a trench coat showing an unlined hem or some carefully tailored pants, telegraphing „a vibrant and cultured, artistic, religious and a cool melting pot of social life that harks back to the brand's Parisian origins,” he said.
Colorful knits featured the brand's stylized logo in a graphic motif, while shearling underwear and checkered pants had an easy and relaxed approach. Keeping its heritage in mind, it introduced a fun new sneaker with a supersized midsole in contrasting colors with the vamp.
„We're conveying the message that we want to make this a global brand, and we're dusting it off by leveraging its past,” Merikoski said.
