Lippiett, an award-winning executive producer, joins the company as head of projects. A former ITN executive, her credits include “Harry: The Interview” and the Prime Video documentary series “The Confession”. Mottershead has been hired as head of fact and patterns. He moves from the BBC, where he was chief commissioner of real entertainment and events, overseeing titles including „The Antiques Roadshow” and „Interior Design Masters”. Karpanen joins as senior producer. He is proud of projects like „Baby Borrowers” and „Save Our Team with David Beckham”.
Orchard was founded earlier this year by Grabiner, former head of Amazon Studios UK and Northern Europe, and Hill, former CEO of The Garden Productions.
„Nat, Clare and Danny are best-in-class creative leaders with a knockout track record of developing, developing and launching bold, innovative unscripted programming,” said Grabiner. „Together, we’re building a modern, global, world-class production company, creating must-see factual-entertainment formats and impactful box-set documentaries.”
