More history was created at the World Cup as a new record for visitors

During the recent ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, history was created as the most attended tournament in the ICC.

A total of 1,250,307 fans passed through the turnstiles during the six-week tournament in India, surpassing the previous mark of 1,016,420 spectators who attended the 2015 event in Australia and New Zealand.

Earlier this month, a group stage match between South Africa and Afghanistan in Ahmedabad held a record of one million fans, and a new record was easily reached after more than 90,000 fans attended the thrilling final between India and Australia. Narendra Modi Stadium.
