Meghan Markle could make a fortune posting on Instagram if she decides to join the social media platform, a financial expert has revealed.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, could become one of the most popular accounts on Instagram, consultant Eric Schiffer told the Daily Mail on Saturday.
“You have celebrities like the Kardashians who can charge $1 million and more per post promoting a product. There’s no reason Meghan should be earning that kind of fee,” he said.
But Page Six has already reported that Markle has defended her Instagram handle @megan, which already has nearly 820,000 followers without a single post.
Another insider told Us on Saturday that Markle has no plans to return to social media and that the claims are false.
„How can she make money if she doesn’t have Instagram?” asked the soul.
If she ever joins Instagram, Schiffer said, she’ll have to be careful not to overdo it with product endorsements.
„He will associate with quality brands and organizations that align with his political and social beliefs.”
The adviser also said joining social media would be the „next logical step” for Markle, who is reportedly planning her acting comeback.
The „Suits” star, who lives in Montecito, Calif., with Prince Harry and their two children, signed with powerful Hollywood giant WME in April.

„The company will focus on building its commercial efforts across multiple aspects of the agency and its broader ecosystem, including film and television production, brand partnerships and more,” WME announced on Twitter at the time.
It’s unclear if the Duchess of Sussex will return to acting, but an insider told Page Six that she’s working hard on something unexpected.
„Megan and the team are working hard,” the insider revealed.
„I think it’s going to be amazing, it’s not going to be what everyone expects, it’s going to be who Meghan is.”
