KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 13 — Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) said it will strengthen its commitment to support the goals of Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VMY2026) and position Kuala Lumpur as a „hub for Asia and beyond”.

With 248 flights across its domestic and international networks, both Malaysia Airlines and Firefly, and departures from Kuala Lumpur, Subang and Penang, the airline said it will enhance its role as a national carrier to position Malaysia as a true Asian tourism and aviation hub.
With the Malaysia Airlines Holiday Special Sale, MAG invites travelers to plan their vacations for the year from now until 26 February 2024.
“Travel one-way to destinations including Alor Setar, Johor Bahru, Kuala Terengganu and Kuantan via Economy Class from RM79 domestically.
„Holidaymakers who enjoy the full premium travel experience can avail business class fares from RM408,” it said in a statement, adding that the offer is valid for immediate travel until Nov 30, 2024.
For ASEAN destinations, passengers can travel to Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh, Surabaya and Bali from RM219 in Economy Class or RM699 in Business Class one-way.
Malaysia Airlines holiday specials are also extended to its sister airline Firefly for passengers flying from Subang to Kuala Terengganu and Kota Bharu, starting from RM119; and from Penang to Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Singapore and Bangkok from RM99.
Passengers can avail special fares from RM1,744 one-way to London, one of Malaysia Airlines' most popular international destinations, or travel visa-free to China (for trips up to 15 days), MAG said. RM732.
