Art Study in Llam PCN 2024
Works selected by Art Director Maria Kell and International Monitor Juliet Bipasse They examine the relationship with the environment, environmental concerns and the impact of new technologies. British collective UVA, Antoni Arola, Elisa Storelli, Jou Serra, Anna Ridler, Alba G Corral, Nathalie Mauphroy, Gijs Coenen and Sofía Montenegro are some of the talents presenting their work. Programs for schools of design and architecture
As usual, seventeen design, art and lighting schools in the city will participate in BCN Light with their facilities. They are located in different locations near other works by BCN Light artists. Educational centers: ETSAB – UPC, Escola Massana, ESDAPC of Deià campus and Llotja campus, UPC CCCB Master of Design and Production of Space, ESDi, Elisava, IED Barcelona, IAAC, LCI Barcelona, Institute of Theater, ETSALS La Salle, BAU, UPC Master Lighting, Faculty of Fine Arts of Barcelona (UB), EINA and UIC School of Architecture.
Special facilities of Llum BCN
The festival features numerous installations such as United Visual Artist's „Patterns and Recognitions” at DHUB, Jou Serra's „Range in between” at L'Auditori, or Anthony Arola's mysterious umbracle „Canopée” at TNC. Each piece invites the viewer to interact with the environment, challenge preconceptions and apply a new perspective.

Organized by Barcelona City Council's Institute of Culture, Llama PCN 2024 has the main sponsorship and official sponsorship of Yamaha. ISE Technology Exhibition, CCWestfield Glòries and Mirador Torre Glòries, as well as a collaboration with BCN Energia. Five installations that can be seen during the festival have been created within the framework of this sponsorship and are grouped in the +llum section.
Festive light
Apart from the main festival, Off Lum organized it Poblenou urban district, adds an extra dimension. This year's edition features eleven artists, including Darklight Studio, Incist, Agustina Palazzo and BeatMe Lab Studio.
Lite Pro 2024
Llum Pro 2024, organized for lighting professionals in collaboration with the Institut Ramon Llull, will feature key curators from various European lighting art festivals at the DHUB Auditorium on Saturday, February 3. The platform aims to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration within a vibrant community of light art professionals.
Tables
The 13th edition of the Llum BCN Festival promises to once again be a celebration of innovation and creativity around the art of lighting. An immersive experience of art, design and technology and a collective experiment in perception and participation.
