Allardyce says cutting globe about „rubbish”.
Having previously been labeled a „soft German” and a „problem” at Anfield, Sam Allardyce did not heap praise on Jurgen Klopp on his return to management.
The German is one of many bosses who have been harshly critical of Newcastle United this season. 'Big Sam’ faces his former club at Elland Road on Saturday as he bids to boost Leeds’ bid for Premier League survival, and was asked to comment in the pre-match press conference.
„Who didn’t? Who complained?” He answered. When the Liverpool boss’ name was put to him: „He’s a waste of time,” came the immediate response.
At least it wasn’t limited to Jip Klopp, when a journalist pointed out that Man United chairman Eric Den Haag had made similar complaints: „He’s wasting time, they’re wasting the last five minutes when they’re winning 2-1. Don’t be silly, it’s rubbish!” He mocked the 68-year-old.
No one will be surprised that Allardyce is not back to make friends.
