Leigh-Anne of Little Mix is coming out to start her solo career.
The British singer drops “Don’t Say Love,” her first single in 11 years with the award-winning, chart-topping pop act.
Produced by John Pellion and Pete Nappi and co-written by Alde, „Don’t Say Love” is a beats-heavy nugget with lashings of UK garage.
She explains that the single, through Warner Music, is about „no longer looking for external validation and regaining my confidence and sense of self in a world where I often felt misunderstood and unheard.”
It is accompanied by an official music video directed by Emil Nava, which creatively captures Leigh-Anne’s transition – the old with the new era. The video is „a visual representation of finding my voice,” he continues. „I’m excited to continue with my first love, music.”
Little Mix capped off a huge career with the 2021 Brit Award for Best Group, becoming the first girl group to win the category. „It’s not easy being a woman in the UK pop industry,” Leigh-Ann said from the BRITs stage. „We’ve seen white male dominance, misogyny, sexism and a lack of diversity. We’re proud of how we’ve stuck together, stood our ground, surrounded ourselves with strong women, and now more than ever we’re using our voices.

Before entering an extended hiatus in 2022, Little Mix had five UK No. 1 singles and the best-selling album of 2016. The glory days. The first girl group to log 100 weeks in the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart, landing 19 titles in the top tier. Two albums of 2012 DNA (No. 4) and 2014 hello (No. 6) reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart.
According to Warner Music, career sales exceed 75 million, and the act has amassed more than 15 billion streams.
