’Law & Order,’ 'FBI’ and 'One Chicago’ rewrites after strike ends

Eight Wolf Entertainment/Universal Television writers’ rooms are opening this week following the end of the writers’ strike. Additionally, two new showrunners have been named: „Chicago Fire” season 12 will be hosted by Andrea Newman, who previously co-showrunnered with Derek Haas; And „FBI: International” Season 3 will be helmed by executive producer Matt Olmstead.

Haas, who co-created „Chicago Fire,” was also the previous showrunner of „FBI: International.” He left Wolf Entertainment last November after 10 years.

Season 3 of „Law & Order: Organized Crime” was originally directed by Sean Jablonski, then „SVU” showrunner David Graziano, and the team is looking for a new Season 4 showrunner. He will be the show’s sixth showrunner, as Barry O’Brien, Brian Goluboff and Ilene Chaiken have previously held the title. The spinoff has yet to set a date for returning to the writers room.

Rick Eid will return to „Law & Order,” while Graziano will return to „Law & Order: SVU;” will return to
„Chicago PD” will be hosted by Gwen Chigan and „Chicago Med” will be hosted by Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider; „FBI” showrunner Rick Eath directs David Hudgens as „FBI: Most Wanted.”

Three „Law & Order” series and three „One Chicago” series are produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television; The three „FBI” shows are produced by Wolf Entertainment, Universal Television and CBS Studios.

„On Call,” produced by Wolf Entertainment, Universal Television and Amazon Studios, is expected to resume filming after the SAG-AFTRA strike.
