Jesse Buckley lends his voice to BAFTA-winning filmmaker Paloma Pace's („The House,” „Polls Apart”) hand-drawn animated short „Three Hairs.”
The eco-themed film – currently in production – was directed and adapted by Paisa from an original story by „The People in the Trees,” „A Little Life,” „To Paradise,” and editor Hanya Yanagihara. D: Editor of The New York Times Style magazine.
According to the film's narrative, „The Three Rabbits” weaves an enchanting creation myth and the mystical origin story of the ancient Three Rabbits into an environmental story about three sisters who must remind humanity to respect the Earth to protect their future.
Oscar and BAFTA nominee Buckley (“Wicked Little Letters,” “The Lost Daughter”) narrates the film, which also features original music by two-time Oscar-winning composer Gustavo Santolalla (“Brokeback Mountain,” “Babel”) and co. -Composer Juan Lucci („The Last of Us”).
Archer Grey's all-female production team is led by Amy Navyogas and Rebecca Choi (“Can You Ever Forgive Me?”, “20th Century Women,” “Lost Girls”); Ruth Fielding, Camilla Deakin and Vanessa Wheeler (“Kensuke's Kingdom”, “Ethel & Ernest”) at Lupus Films; and Beth Hudsons, founder and creative director of jewelry company FoundRae.
Award-winning animation director Neil Boyle (“Kensuke's Kingdom,” “The Last Belly”) and art directors Sharon Liu (“The Tiger Came to Tea,” “Nina Simone: Color is a Beautiful Thing”) and Aaron Lambert (“Isle of Dogs, ” “The Last Weekend: A Love Story”) led a small specialist team of animators and artists at Lupus Films Studios in London.
