Charlize Theron has denied any reports that she’s had a facelift to look and feel younger, instead jokingly saying, 'I’m getting old, it’s just happening.’
The 48-year-old screen siren spoke of beauty and youth and was the face of Dior’s best-selling fragrance J’Adore for two decades.
Looking back at some of her iconic scenes, the star opened up about her changing look in a new interview.

The teenage actress – who took her kids to a Taylor Swift concert in LA – isn’t a fan of the double standard between men and women when it comes to aging.
„I’ve always had issues with the fact that older men like fine wines and women like cut flowers,” she said.
„I hate that idea and I want to fight against it, but I think women should age the way they feel is right for them,” said the South African.
’I think we all need to be a little more empathetic about how we go about our journey,’ she explained.
’My journey to see my face on a billboard is a lot more fun now,’ joked the Fast X star.
The mother of two recounted a funny story that happened when she and her oldest daughter, 11-year-old Jackson, walked past one of her 10-foot-tall J’Adore ads.
’My eldest was very shy. She said, „Oh my God, Mom! You’re not even wearing a shirt.” I was like, „You’re right. I don’t even realize it,” the atomic blonde actress said.
’She said, „All my friends are going to see this. I mean, can you wear a shirt?”’
The North County actress also spoke about what kind of roles she will no longer play due to her age.
’I’ll never, ever do a movie again and say, „Yeah, I’m going to gain 40 pounds”. I won’t do it again because you can’t take it off,’ she said.
When I was 27, I did Monster and lost 30 pounds overnight. I missed three meals and I went back to my normal weight,’ she explained.
’Then I did it for Tully when I was 43 and I remember trying for a year to lose weight and I called my doctor and said, „I think I’m dying because I can’t lose this weight.”
And he said, „You’re over 40. Keep calm. Your metabolism isn’t like that.” No one wants to hear that,’ she said resignedly.
Theron gained 50 pounds to play a pregnant and exhausted mother of three in Tully in 2018.
Charlize previously revealed that gaining weight for the role made her depressed.
Revealing he embarked on a fatty diet and new lifestyle after being spotted eating mac and cheese at 2am, he told Entertainment Tonight: 'I wanted to feel what this girl felt and I think that was a way to get closer to me. Get her and that mood.
’You know, it was a big surprise to me. I was hit hard in the face by stress. Yes, for the first time in my life I ate very processed foods and I drank a lot of sugar. Being in this movie is not that fun for me.
Charlize said she eats 24 hours a day to lose weight and even eats In-N-Out burgers and milkshakes for breakfast.
’The first three weeks are always fun because you’re like a kid in a candy store. And then three weeks later, it’s not fun anymore. Suddenly you’re done eating that much, then it becomes a chore.
The actress explained that she keeps food ready by her bed for midnight snacks, including a cup of cold macaroni and cheese.
’I remember having to set the alarm in the middle of the night for maintenance [the weight].’ she revealed.
