CNN commentator Scott Jennings said Friday that Vice President Harris’ price control plan will cause mass food shortages.
„If you like bread lines, product shortages, black markets, hoarding, and want to recreate the happy economic conditions of 'The Walking Dead,'” Jennings said Friday, „Harris has a project for you.”

On Friday, Harris spoke about his economic vision for the country in Raleigh, North Carolina.

There is no increase in prices,” he said. „Grocery stores, these things, they operate on very slim profit margins. There’s no reduction. There’s only inflation,” the Republican strategist said.
Jennings said the plan comes from a ticket that has „no private sector experience or interest in taking responsibility for everything they’ve done to put America’s working class into an economic crisis.”
The commentator also responded to Harris’ comments about high grocery prices and other economic issues.
„The first thing I saw was a scathing indictment of the conditions of the country,” Jennings said. „He very effectively highlighted how badly the American people have been hurt by the policies of the Biden-Harris agenda. I mean, inflation is the number one problem. Food prices, housing costs, the housing shortage, all of that is absolutely true.”
The economic commentator warns that Harris’s price control plan has already been tried in 'Venezuela, Argentina, the Soviet Union’.

„He and Joe Biden are in charge, and he has directly cast the votes that led to these conditions,” Jennings said. „I don’t know how she plans to separate herself from Joe Biden, because she has a direct hand in everything she talked about today.”
During his Friday speech in North Carolina, Harris promised to „take on more spending that is so important to most Americans.”
„Just like the cost of food. We all know that prices went up during the pandemic when supply chains shut down and failed, but our supply chains have improved now and prices are even higher,” Harris said.
The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
