Alexander-Arnold, 25, slammed on his brakes and swerved before hitting the BMW X5.

The shaken Liverpool star was later seen getting out and speaking to the other driver.

The duo miraculously escaped unhurt in the crash on a wet country lane near Knutsford, Cheshire.

Three people have died as Cyclone Bobbet wreaks havoc across the country.

A source said: “The wind was so powerful that it suddenly tore down the power pole. It was really scary. Miraculously no one was hurt. Could have easily killed someone.

„What are the chances of that happening? Alexander-Arnold must feel like he’s cheated death.

„A few seconds later it could have gone through his windshield. It was absolutely treacherous.”

Police were called to the scene of the accident yesterday morning and the power was cut off.

Photographs show Alexander-Arnold standing next to a power pole stretched across the road with wires dangling from his car.

The front of his black Range Rover was damaged, while the white BMW crashed into a hedge and lost its headlight.

Alexander-Arnold, who lives nearby, is believed to have attended training ahead of today’s lunchtime clash against Everton at Anfield.

The crash comes just days after he parted ways with England teammates including Jude Bellingham and Jack Grealish in a London nightclub following the Three Lions’ qualification for next summer’s Euros.

Cheshire Police said yesterday: “At 10.34am today we were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a black Range Rover and a BMW.

“The accident occurred when an electric pole fell on the road.

“Nobody was injured and everything was fine by 1.05pm.

„We called the energy company and turned off the power.”

Alexander-Arnold’s agent has been contacted for comment.
