It’s still a blessing in my life, so I’m still very thankful and grateful.
Yulo’s medals mark the second and third gold medals for the Philippines at the Olympic Games.
In Paris, he teamed up with his country’s first Olympic champion, Hitlin DiazA weightlifting gold medalist three years ago at Tokyo 2020.
Diaz, perhaps more than anyone, knows what awaits Yulo.

„I still don’t know much,” he said of it all. „I heard that I will get a lot of prizes, but maybe I am more focused on the next cycle of the Olympics. It will be a great experience for me because I want to defend that title that I won. [here] In the next cycle, show everyone that I deserve a gold medal in all my performances in my competitions.
