This feature will be set before the described events Wheel of time TV series from Amazon and Sony. It is described as an action-adventure about a young woman with a special gift whose life changes forever when evil descends on her remote mountain village. Finding herself alone in a dangerous world, she must travel to The White Tower to learn how to use her magical powers to save her family and friends.
The film is based on an original story set in Jordan’s universe, screenwriter Stents said today: “I’ve been a lifelong fan of the world Robert Jordan created, especially The White Tower, residence, school and castle that serves as the capital for the mysterious Ace Sedai sister. It was a dream come true to be given the opportunity to write a new story that takes place in an iconic setting that is instantly familiar to Jordan fans around the world.

The new film will be produced by Rick Selvage and Larry Mondragon of iwot Productions and Zack Stentz of Electric Brain Entertainment. Separately, Selvage and Mondragon serve as executive producers on the Sony and Amazon TV adaptation Wheel of time.
