Beyoncé's 'Texas Hold 'Em' is back to headline

A UK chart double call for Beyoncé, as Cowboy Carter And its hit single „Texas Hold 'Em” set the pace for the race to No. 1.

As previously reported, Cowboy Carter (via Columbia/Parkwood Entertainment) is ahead of the competition at the midweek point. According to the Official Charts Company, Bey's country-themed collection currently outsells any other top 5.

with Cowboy Carter Breaking through the gates, „Texas Hold 'Em” rose 2-1 on the midweek chart and is projected to enter its fifth consecutive week at the summit.

Two more cuts from Bey's new LP cracked the top 10, „Jolene” (at No. 5) and „II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus (No. 8). If both tracks hold their course, Beyoncé's career tally of UK Top 10 hits will rise to 24.

Meanwhile, Benson Boone's two-week reign on „Beautiful Things” (Warner Records) is expected to end at the hands of Paine, down 2-1 in the midweek count. The Washington-raised singer-songwriter is on the brink of a third UK Top 40 appearance, however, with „Slow It Down” 49-26 on the midweek charts (Boone's 2022 single „In The Stars” was at No. 21).

Rounding out the top three on the midweek tally is Teddy Swims' “Loose Control” (Atlantic), no. 3 is expected to control.

British-Cypriot DJ and producer Artemas is on the brink of his first UK top 10 with „I Like The Way You Kiss Ma'am” (Parlophone), climbing 13-7 on the chart.

Also in the midweek survey, Irish DJ duo New Era hit a new high with „Birds in the Sky” (Warner Records) up 21-19, while jungle's soulful throwback number „Back on 74” (Caola) sees it. A new peak level, 47-23 peak followed the viral breakthrough.

Several singles are advancing, including The Blessed Madonna & Clementine Douglas' „Happier” (up 39-25 via FFRR); and American indie-pop singer, songwriter, producer and TikTok creator Mark Amphor, predicted to score his first UK Top 40 entry with „Belong Together” (One Hundred Days).

All will be revealed when the official UK Singles Chart is released later on Friday 5 April.
