Brumbies full-back Tom Wright has had an incredible performance so far this season in Super Rugby Pacific, starting in round five against Mona Pacifica.
It's good to see the star playing well after some high-profile mistakes in the gold rush and his unceremonious removal from the Wallabies set-up by Eddie Jones last year.
Wright wasn't the only big mistake from the Wallabies under Jones, with the influential duo of Quade Cooper and Michael Hooper also facing the axe.
Neglect
However, an electric runner heavily involved with the Wallabies in Dave Rennie has worked hard to impress new Australia coach Joe Schmidt and elevate his game.
„He made two big mistakes in two Tests last year and it cost him dearly,” former Wallaby Stephen Hoyles told Stan Sports' Between Two Posts.
„During the World Cup last year we walked a lot and there was a Barbarians team. I remember seeing a photo of the Barbarians and just 'hanging on'.
„Why isn't Tom Wright at the Wallabies – six weeks after being named? He's just been good at every team he's played for.
“He had two moments in the Test series leading up to the World Cup. Like a big, quality player that we got out of that World Cup squad.”

He worked hard
Hoyles was impressed that Wright chose to work hard after being axed rather than be frustrated about the result.
„It can go one of two ways,” Hoyles said.
“Players can spit out the dummy and not work as hard during the season.
„He's a Sydney lad who was coming back down the highway (to Canberra), doing speed training all summer and working on the back.
„And, yeah, it looks like (Brumbies coach Stephen) Larkham has given them a bit more license to tackle deep.
„The freedom they play – he makes (winger) Corey Toole look good. He helps (fifth Noah) Lolezio.
„It's a sign of a good player when you have players inside and outside you flourishing. I thought he was excellent the other night, a couple of pullbacks, that might be the try for him. Keeps threatening.
„He's going to have a good year for us.”
