The summer transfer window is now officially open to allow Arsenal sporting director Edu to work on implementing his plans.

The Gunners are working hard to strengthen Mikel Arteta’s squad with a target for Declan Rice. The West Ham captain is currently on international duty in England ahead of Euro 2024 qualifiers with Malta and North Macedonia – but a deal is still progressing.

Rice is not the only target for Arsenal, however, with more arrivals and departures on the cards in the coming weeks. The Premier League season is gone and pre-season is in the future, but there is a lot going on around the club.

Brighton’s Kaisido 'Fear’

Moises Caicedo came close to joining Arsenal in January and, although the Gunners face competition from Manchester United and Chelsea, a move has already begun.

Roberto De Serpi has already made it clear the club will not stand in his way and Brighton defender Pervis Estupinan has outlined the sentiment within the camp.

Estupinan knows that ignoring his Ecuador team-mate is the most likely outcome, and admits that Brighton will miss his qualities next season. „Having a player of Moi’s type, I think many teams would like him, we all fear he will leave us,” he told the Ecuadorian TV channel.
