County lost 4-1 at Morecambe on Saturday, with Dallas Omorui grabbing County’s only goal.
The Young Hatters surprisingly fell behind early in the game. Rhys Watson played a safe pass to 'keeper Kane Bowe, but pressure from the Morecambe front line deflected Bowe’s attempted clearance into the net.
The hosts doubled their lead moments later. Following a quick break down the right wing, a teasing cross was deflected off goal by County captain Jack Kenny, but the oncoming forward fired a powerful effort into the top-left corner.
Morecambe added a third and looked to put the game away before the break. Another cross from the right caused problems for County.
Luke Bardington could have pulled one back for County in spectacular fashion. Kingston Flick played the ball into the center circle on the right-hand side where Partington drove through the center of the Morecambe defence, riding four challenges but his strike was high and wide.
Morecambe soon added a fourth. Again, their right winger, who had caused problems all afternoon, played a brilliant cross to the far post where a red shirt was waiting to tap the ball home.

County had their first half chance as Ashton Mee headed home. Bardington’s looping cross found the midfielder but his header was comfortably saved.
Omorui pulled one back for County with a brilliant goal. Substitute Chey Gardner played the ball to the striker, who brilliantly turned his defender and slotted an effort into the net, giving the goalkeeper no chance.
