Van Gogh’s self-portrait and sunflowers are among the works painted inside the clock
An artist has painted three miniature reproductions of Van Gogh’s masterpieces on a watch mechanism.
David A Linden of Bournemouth said he spent six months hand-drawing the 0.5 mm (0.02-inch) sketches.
Mr Lyndon, who started working as a micro artist in 2019, has previously miniaturized works by Banksy, Monet and Munch.
The watch, which is on display at an art gallery in Shropshire, is selling for £150,000.

Fine paintings cannot be seen with the naked eye
Mr Lyndon previously said he had to be in an „almost numb coma” to control his hands and breathing.
The former aviation engineer said he worked at night to avoid distractions and vibrations from traffic.
The clock features works including The Starry Night, Sunflowers and a Van Gogh Self-Portrait that rotate as the mechanism moves.

Each of the three miniatures took two months to create
Sketches are just 0.5 mm (0.019 in) in size, which is smaller than a full stop.
Hammond Galleries in Shifnall claims the watch is „the world’s first wearable art gallery”, although its exhibits are not visible to the naked eye.
Mr Lyndon plans a further trilogy of clocks featuring works by Banksy, Dali, Picasso and Warhol.
