Catherine, Princess of Wales, also known as Kate Middleton, visited Riversley Park Children’s Center in Nuneaton, England on Thursday, wearing a green and white leopard print shirt from Sefin Studios. She met with health visitors participating in a trial to assess the use of the Alarm Distress Baby Scale.
Middleton’s ensemble featured a waist tie and puffed shoulders. She teamed the dress with white Jimmy Choo pumps and accessorized the look with Kiki McDonough citrine earrings.
Cefin Studios was founded by Samantha Cameron, wife of former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, who served from 2010 to 2016. Samantha has a long career in the fashion industry as the former Creative Director of Smithsonian from 1997 to 2010. She took a part-time creative consulting role at Smithsonian after her husband became prime minister.
In 2017, Samantha launched Sefin Studio. The brand name is an acronym that takes Cameron’s first letter and the first letters of his children’s names, Elwen, Florence, Evan and Nancy.
During her visit, Middleton learned more about a field study on the Alarm Distress Baby Scale supported by the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood.
The ADBB is used to assess how children interact with the world around them, focusing on behaviors such as eye contact and activity levels. Middleton was first introduced to the ADBB when he visited Denmark in 2022 and has been working to see how it could be implemented in the UK.
Earlier this year, Middleton launched the Shaping Us campaign, which focuses on the importance of early childhood development.
