BEIJING, May 22 (Reuters) – Seven bodies have been recovered from a Chinese fishing vessel that capsized in the central Indian Ocean, state media said on Monday. Members.
Several countries, including Australia, India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, the Maldives and the Philippines, are involved in efforts to rescue the 39 crew members missing after the Chinese deep-water fishing vessel „Lupeng Yuanyu 028” capsized early Tuesday morning. CCTV has been recorded.
The vessel belongs to Penglai Jinglu Fishery Co., Ltd. in Shandong Province. The company is yet to issue a statement on the incident.
It was not immediately clear which of the 39 people originally on board – 17 Chinese crew members, 17 Indonesians and five from the Philippines – were found.
The Chinese Ministry of Transport said that Sri Lankan divers have found and recovered the remains from the ship’s cabin.

CCTV said the wrecked ship was slowly moving eastward.
State media said there were 13 other vessels near the wreck.
CCTV footage last week showed high-powered marine radars on board ships trying to locate the capsized ship, while crew members were seen using visual equipment to wade through seawater to find survivors.
Last Thursday, China’s Foreign Ministry said President Xi had ordered the dispatch of additional rescue forces and the coordination of international maritime search assistance.
China’s ambassador to Australia urged Canberra on Thursday to step up its rescue efforts to help find the missing.
