Holders Liverpool face West Ham United in one of three all-Premier League ties after being drawn for the third round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday evening.
The other meetings will be between Everton v Southampton and Brighton & Hove Albion v Wolverhampton Wanderers, all of whom have beaten lower-league opposition in round two.
Ten Premier League teams advanced to the third round of the competition, with only Ipswich Town failing to reach the next stage.

New format for third round matches
The new format in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) and UEFA Europa League (UEL) means a different style to the third round of the EFL Cup.
The matches will take place on September 16 and September 23, the same weeks as the UCL and UEL matches.
To ensure there is no conflict in match dates, a club participating in the Champions League does not draw a club participating in the Europa League, which would enable the round-three matches to be played on an alternate week.

Tuesday night was no slouch as Brighton, Everton, Leicester, Fulham and Crystal Palace all comfortably dispatched lower-league opposition.
It was another impressive win for Brighton under head coach Fabian Herzeler, who made it three wins in as many matches. However, the win came with a bit of disappointment as one of Brighton’s new signings, Matt O’Reilly, was taken off with an injury after six minutes.
Elsewhere, Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta scored the only goal of the round with a superb bicycle kick.

In Wednesday’s games, Newcastle needed penalties to get past Nott’m Forest, with Sean Longstaff scoring the decisive spot-kick to seal their place in the next round.
Joe Willock opened the scoring after 19 seconds, while Sandro Donali was named in the starting line-up following a 10-month ban from football. Newcastle hit back when Forest’s Jota Silva equalized with a superb strike to score his first goal for the club.
In the other all-Premier League tie, Jarrod Bowen continued his excellent start to the season with an 88th-minute winner against Bournemouth, while Julen Lopetegui secured his first home win as West Ham boss.
