The 52-year-old British musician’s illness has forced supergroup The Smile to cancel their European tour.

Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood is in „intensive care” following a significant illness.
The keyboardist and composer was touring with fellow travelers as part of The Smile Radiohead Vocalist Thom Yorke and Sons of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner.
The supergroup was forced to cancel its European tour due to the 52-year-old British musician’s illness.
A report in The Smile said Oxford-born Greenwood was „seriously ill” and would „return home soon”, but doctors had advised him to rest.
The band has confirmed that all ticket holders will be refunded at the point of purchase.

In a statement released by The Smile on X, “A few days ago, Johnny became seriously ill with an infection that required emergency hospital treatment, some of whom were in intensive care.
„Thankfully he is now out of danger and will be home soon.
„We have been advised by the medical team responsible for Johnny’s care to cancel all engagements until he has had time to fully recover.
„Therefore, the Smile Tour of Europe in August is cancelled.”
It added: „Refunds for headline shows are available from your ticket provider.
„We all wish Johnny a speedy recovery.”
The band released two UK top 10 albums in A Light in the Spotlight and Wall of Eyes.
The band is scheduled to play in Switzerland, Sweden, Germany and Poland next month.
