On night two in Amsterdam, Taylor Swift performed a never-before-heard live version of her Eras Tour song „The Tortured Poets Department.”
„The acoustic section is one of my favorite parts of every show because it’s different every night,” she said, wearing her free-flowing blue dress. „It’s a challenge for me to come up with brand-new stuff and try to make it different every night.”
As he played a couple of tunes from the new track, the crowd at the Johan Cruyff Arena chanted „Imconagateback”.
„You’re singing too loud,” Swift said before launching into „Dress” from „Fame.” „Say my name and everything will stop,” chanted the crowd.
As Swift wrapped up the guitar mashup, she sat down at the piano.
I played it in Amsterdam because it refers to bikes and Man Do You Love Bikes,” he said of the „Tortured Poets” song at the Amsterdam crowd. „It’s a beautiful thing, and you see a bike rack with 3,000 bikes. This is one of the best things about this place.
He then mixed „You’re in Love” with „1989 (Taylor’s Version)” and „Cowboy Like Me” from „Folkcore”. Swift has one more Eras Tour show in the capital of the Netherlands before heading to Zurich, Switzerland.
Earlier in the night, Swift asked stadium staff three times to help fans during her 10-minute set of „All Too Well.”
As she was ending her „Red” era, Swift sang, „I wanna be my old self again, but I’m still trying to figure it out.” Her eyes were fixed on the floor area on the right side of the stage (audience view). Before stopping, she continued to sing the next two lines, „They need help where they shine their lights.”
