The series takes viewers around the world to the sport’s premier one-day meeting circuit – the Wanda Diamond League – as athletes battle towards the pinnacle of the 2023 season: the World Athletics Championships Budapest 23.
Showcasing a side unseen in their remarkable journeys to Budapest, and as the athletes now prepare for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the series showcases:
- Shelly-Anne Fraser-Pryce is Jamaica’s top sprinter as she qualified for her fifth Olympic Games last weekend.
- British record holder Jarnell Hughes, led by Usain Bolt’s former coach Glenn Mills.
- Sherika Jackson, who recently retained her Jamaican 100m and 200m titles, is the second fastest women’s 200m runner in history.
- Marcel Jacobs is the Italian record holder in his hunt for a second straight Olympic 100m crown.
- Fred Kerley, the 2022 world 100m champion, is looking to go one better in Paris than his Tokyo Olympic silver.
- Five-time world champion Noah Lyles completed the 100m and 200m doubles at the recent US Olympic Team Trials.
- Shagari Richardson, the world 100-meter champion, won the U.S. title in Eugene in a world-leading time.
- Gabby Thomas, the recent US 200m title winner and the fastest woman in the discipline so far this year
- Elaine Thompson-Hera is a five-time Olympic gold medalist from Jamaica
Providing a unique insight into the exclusive world of international sprinting are athletics legends Usain Bolt, Allyson Felix, Ado Bolton and Michael Johnson, who between them have a total of 73 Olympic and World Athletics Championship medals.

Lyles has already been announced for the 200m at the Wanda Diamond League meeting in Monaco on July 12 and the 100m at the meeting in London eight days later. The women’s 100m in Monaco and the women’s 200m in London will be held before the start of athletics at the Olympic Games on August 1. Some of the world’s biggest names clash in the tournament as well.
