Brony James' future has been one of the hot topics of discussion for a while now. The USC guard entered the transfer portal, making his NCAA future clear.
While most people think he will attend another college next year, the NBA draft is a possibility. LeBron James responded to the reports after learning the news.
What did LeBron James say?
After the Lakers' win against the Raptors, King was questioned about Broney's future. The four-time NBA champion was clear about his thought process and said Broney will make the decision.
LeBron said: „He's his own man. At the end of the day, Brony is his own man and he's going to have to make some tough decisions. When he's ready to make that decision, he'll let all of us know. As a family, we're going to support him in whatever he does.”
A lot of teams like Broney
This comes after USC's head coach, Andy Enfield, became the head coach at SMU. Michi Johnson, a close family friend, recently decided to play in Columbus after attending South Carolina the past two years. Will Bronny do the same?
LeBron will be happy to see Broney play in Columbus because he has a lot of influence in the program.
Of course, many people think that a school will eventually win. After hiring LeBron's old high school team as head coach, Duquesne is considered the favorite to land Brony.
Bronny recruits from high school can also try to get in on the act. LeBron preferred USC to Oregon and Broney to Memphis. Now that he's back on the market, can they see him again?
The way LeBron responded to questions about Brony's future shows that there is no clarity on that at the moment. Be it the NBA or something else, the interest will increase as the months go by.
