Newjeans – Super Shy
At number 6, Newjeans’ Super Shy is the first single from the girl group’s second EP titled Get Up. In the music video, Super Shy members Minji, Hanni, Daniel, Herrin, and Hye’s youth outfit initiate the Flash Gang. The song is known for its mismatched syncopated choreography.
Seventeen – Super
Ranked 47th, the concept of Super is inspired by a powerful mythological character from the Chinese novel Journey to the West. Seventeen, consisting of members S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino, are famous for their dynamic dance moves. Dated July 11, the music video crossed 100 million views on YouTube.
Twice – moonlight sunrise
Moonlight rules over the sunrise number 55. It is the second single in English by the nine-member TWICE group consisting of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Taehyun, Seyoung, and Tjuyu. Inspired by the moonlight during TWICE’s concert at the Bank of California Stadium in California.
V – Rainy days
BTS’s V’s Rainy Days is part of his debut album Layover, which is ranked 58th on this list. It is an alternative pop R&B track and the lyrics express the feelings of a person longing to meet their special someone. The song’s uniqueness trended on the Billboard Global 200 and Digital Song Sales charts.
Jisoo – Flower
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo debuted with her single Flower, which amassed 40 million views within 24 hours of its release on YouTube. Combining traditional Korean melodies and Caribbean elements, FLOWER’s lyrics focus on the singer’s heartbreak and toxic relationship.
Fifty fifty – Cupid
This retro sounding, Cupid song sung by Fifty Fifty (Aran, Keena, Chyna and Seo) went viral on Tiktok and is now at number 75 on this list. The song is about a girl’s unrequited love and charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart.
aespa – Spicy
The four members of aespa: Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningnin released Spicy as part of their third EP My World. Cleansing 95Th With poise, strong vocals and a dynamic beat, this catchy party song has reached several milestones, including peaking at number six on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart.
Jungkook – Seven
Seven, at number 99 on the list, marks BTS’s solo debut. Magne (Junior Member) Janguk. Created in collaboration with Lato, Seven is a passionate serenade in which Jungkook expresses his desire to stay with his lady love everyday. The song features popular Korean actress Han So Hee, driving the internet wild with her chemistry with Jungkook.
